License-free Dashboard Sharing is Rencore's mechanism for distributing live dashboards to people who will never log into the admin console. Recipients receive dashboards as email attachments on a configurable schedule, daily, weekly, monthly. The dashboard reflects current tenant state at the time of delivery. No Rencore login, no license cost, no training.
The economics
Most governance platforms price per seat. Inviting twenty stakeholders to see one dashboard means twenty seats, usually a non-starter. Rencore’s pricing decouples sharing from licensing: licenses cover administrators who configure and manage governance; sharing covers everyone else.
The result: dashboards reach the executive team, the audit committee, the business unit leads, and the compliance officer, all without per-seat cost expansion. Governance visibility scales with the organization, not with the IT budget.
How it works
In any dashboard, configure scheduled sharing, pick recipients (email addresses, no platform accounts needed), pick a cadence (daily/weekly/monthly), pick a delivery time. The platform renders the dashboard against live data at the configured time and emails it to recipients.
Beyond emails
The same dashboard supports on-demand PDF export, embedded view in Teams via the Rencore Teams App, and CSV/Excel export of the underlying data. Pick the delivery mode that fits the audience; the dashboard definition stays the same.
